Otter For Baby: These Things Should Not Be Given To A One Year Old Child

For a year after the birth of the baby, a lot of care has to be taken about what to feed and what not.

During this, the rate of growth of the child increases, so you should know what things should not be fed to the child for a year.

Children’s digestive system is very delicate and if any food does not suit them, then it directly affects their body.

Because of this, they are also prone to food allergies.

So let’s know what things should not be given to the child for one year.

Honey contains traces of bacteria called Clostridium botulinum that can weaken a child’s immune system and cause constipation, loss of appetite, or bacterial infection.

These problems are very common in children under the age of one year.

refined grains

Whole grains are more nutritious than refined grains. Refined cereals lack magnesium, dietary fiber, calcium and B vitamins.

Whole grains also contain bioactive compounds that keep the digestive tract healthy.

Cow’s milk

According to the study, cow’s milk has a bad effect on the health of children.

The amount of iron in cow’s milk is low, whereas the baby needs enough iron for development.

Apart from this, calcium and casein present in cow’s milk inhibit the absorption of dietary non-heme iron.

Fruit Juice

The American Academy of Pediatrics advises parents not to give fruit juices to babies under 6 months of age.

In the first year, the baby does not get any nutrition from fruit juices.

Chocolate contains solid milk, which can cause allergic reactions in the baby.

Any food containing milk should not be given to a child below one year of age.

Experts have advised that children are at the highest risk of nut allergies, so do not give whole peanuts and peanut butter or nut butter in any way to the child.

In case of allergies or severe eczema, the child must be shown to the pediatrician.

Seafood, especially shellfish and other fish are high in mercury, so fish should not be fed to the baby.

Instead, you can feed salmon, tilapia, packaged light tuna and catfish.

Pediatricians often recommend that babies under one year of age should not be fed whole eggs.

According to the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, 2 percent of children are allergic to eggs.

It is very difficult for children to digest meat.

The amount of sodium and animal fat in it is very high, which is not right for children.

Berries such as blackberries, blueberries, strawberries and raspberries and other sour and acidic fruits can cause acidity and upset stomach in the baby.
